Last night, we pulled into Yellowstone National Park to meet @freewheelin_family who have been working in the park since April. They hooked us up (with hookups!) in the employee RV park in the Lake Village area, and after a morning of the kids playing (with the impressive amount of toys you can fit into a class A!), took us on a bike ride about 3 miles out to Lonestar Geyser. Just as we arrived, the geyser - which erupts only every 3 hours - started spewing a tall blast of sizzling water and continued for 15 or 20 minutes more before puffing itself out with steam. We'd planned to show Wynne Old Faithful the next day, but my guess is that this one shared with just a few other people at the end of an old service road will be much more memorable.
