Another admin day in Savannah, getting the truck serviced and spending enough at Whole Foods to trigger a fraud protection alert. I couldn't find anywhere on the Capital One web site to click the "Nomadic Healthy Hipster" button that would make them overlook huge stock ups of Organic Grass Fed Whey Protein, Honest Diapers and coconut water in every state. #savannah #skidawayisland #spanishmoss #airstream #liveriveted #myrivetedlife

Drove out to Tybee Island yesterday afternoon. I love finding ourselves at a beach and realizing that we've got beach chairs, a blanket, a play tent and sand toys right in the back of the truck. We grabbed a few things and headed out to join the spring breakers. #childhoodunplugged #beach #tybeeisland #familytravel #travelwithkids

All the rec's on Skidaway have been right on. Pretty campground connected to a nice trail system winding through tunnels of trees drenched in Spanish Moss. Wynne rode an entire 2 mile dirt loop on her balance bike and Mae was quite happy in the CoPilot. We may have a bike trailer/double stroller combo for sale soon... #striderbike #striderbikes @striderbikes #skidawayisland #skidawayislandstatepark #savannah

Our time in Savannah has gone by too quickly, even with two Instameets with @wanderingwelches and @tomorroweverywhere and a visit from my uncle who lives in Hilton Head.

This afternoon, we went downtown for a carriage ride around the beautiful and storied squares filled with twisting oaks and historical plaques. We ended the evening eating pizza at an outdoor table on the pedestrian-only East St. Julian St. and then walked back up to where a fun band played to the folks on the plaza enjoying beverages in plastic to-go cups from the nearby bars and restaurants.

As we walked, the girls shared a chocolate ice cream cone from the candy shop, much to the entertainment of some of the older couples out for a stroll as Wynne held the cone toward Mae's wagging tongue. One guy tapped @advodna_ann on the shoulder and said something to the effect of, "Treasure this time. It goes by so quickly." I think if we'd taken the time to explain our current lifestyle, he'd approve, but it's a reminder I don't mind getting.

The squares of Savannah are filled with 150+ yr old Live Oaks. Wynne took "Chico," a tan plastic horse she named after a carriage horse she met a couple years ago in Boston, on a horse-drawn tour of them. Of course, now we need to buy her another horse to name "Emmy" after *this* horse. #visciouscycle #savannah #savannahga #georgia
