In two years of fulltiming we've had to deal with ants looking for a picnic, mice eating Gorilla's eye drops, a squirrel stealing Wynne's scone out of the stroller, a fox popping a ball we left outside in the Tetons and a chipmunk jumping into Ann's lap while she was working out, but this creature has been by far the most challenging. #airstreamwithkids #rvwithkids #airstreamwithtriceratops

We met @backroadbennetts before their last name was part of their username. In fact, checking into an RV park in Vancouver, we asked for a site next to our "friends," but they wouldn't give it to us since we didn't know their last name (click #weonlyknowtheirIGusername for the story).

The last time we visited them was in Bozeman as they packed up their house to move into an Airstream full time and this time they're temporarily moving out to settle on a new mountain property to wait for baby number three. And that's as we're heading towards California to reestablish a home base in a house we've been remodeling from the road.

As much as we all enjoy each other's company wherever we are at that moment, I think part of our bond comes from supporting and encouraging each other (either in personal or virtually) through these times of change. It's a good friend who can make you feel absolutely adventurous and completely normal at the same time.

Beautiful night for a dump. Good thing we brought along our #advancedmoochdocking kit with the macerator pump and 100' hose. Worked great even with a 5 or 6' rise to the clean out.

It got down into the 20's last night. May be time to break the Reflectix back out and start crossing fingers that our route back to the west coast stays clear. We'll head out Saturday morning and could pull into our new driveway as early as Weds!

For the last week, @backroadbennetts have welcomed us into their lives: hosting us on their land; taking us pumpkin picking; showing us the hot springs; cooking Vegan meals that made this Porkatarian (temporarily) forget about bacon and sneaking an incredibly excited Wynne into Luna's ballet class. The only downside is now we have to be back for Nutcracker rehearsals every Tues and Thursday evening in December. #ohwell #littleairstreamfriends #airstreamfriends #balletclass
